| Video Monitor: No Signal...
I dont know what it can be but the computer was running fine then the screen went black. As far as I know no one touched it. Now I get the No Signal on the screen. I reseated the video card and nothing. Any ideas here? Did the video card just die? |

Sorry, the crystal ball is not telling me anything about your hardware and OS. I believe you're just going to have to post it. |

Yes Osprey IS a wiseguy... but we STILL dont know what monitor your using, if its DVI or analog, what you were doing when it happened, if there is a power light on the monitor...
give us a little more to work with considering were not looking over your shoulder and there are SOOOOOO many possibilities...
you have a pet that could have knocked the power cable from the outlet?
is it a CRT or an LCD?
??? |

has the computer been moved recently? Is it making contact with the case causing it to short out? Like posted above, there tons of possiblities, we just need more info to narrow it down |

Its in our office. I built the damn thing to! Theres no pets around here, well, not that Im aware of. The power light doesnt look like its on, its freaking clear button and when its on its a very faint light green. I turn it off and back on to see the "No Signal" thingy.
Its an lcd though.
Ive unplugged everything cept for ram, the video card and all essential items. No one said they were near it when the screen went black.
I bet someone was using it when it went off but "she" wont admit to it! Argh! |

have you tried switching ram sticks if possible, such as taking out one, leaving one in? For both sticks?
anyway you can test a new psu in it? test new videocard in it? ram? |

I only have one stick of ram and its the only pc in the office. Im on a mac (no problems here ) and everyone (all 2 of them) are on laptops.
Clearing cmos is just removing the mobo battery for 30 seconds right? |
