Hi guys, please save my skin
we have a number of small companies on our network. they use one of our servers to send pop email just relaying out. this server will not be there on Monday. we have changed all the PC users (outlook express, Outlook) to our POP server and given them a username and password for Auth. this works a treat.
the problem is with the mac users. on mac 0s9 & 10 using express for mac. basically the same as a pc, entered all the same settings, Auth username and password. will not send. the error is - unable to recognise recipient. reason - relay not permitted. the addresses i've tried are good, and work with current relay server.
any ideas guys?? |
