Unplug the hard drive, then see if it will boot from floppy or cd. |

Try a cd such as Ultimate Boot CD. http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ http://www.ubcd4win.com/
Remember to burn the ISO file to cd using the Burn DISC IMAGE option of your burning software, otherwise you will end up with an unbootable cd.
You could also try making a new boot floppy on a different machine. Try at www.bootdisk.com. if you can't find a machine you can make a boot floppy on.Use a fresh, new floppy disc, and use a floppy drive cleaner disc on the drive before you retry, if you go with floppy booting.
What cd did you last use to try to boot from? Most discs are not bootable. |
