Serial IR convertrer
Hi All.
I would like to use my Ipaq 3630 IR function to collect data from my data logger. The logger has a RS232 serial port (1200 8 N 1 ). I need a circuit diagram for a serial to IR converter which I can make to plug into the logger and create an IR link to my Ipaq. Is it just a case of simply converting the RS232 level of the logger to TTL and using that to operate the IR transmitter receiver LED,s.
Or does the Ipaq have a special IR code that is not compatible to serial data ?
This is my first post on the forum and would like to thank you for taking time to read the post.
Thanks , Cellectronic
