Windows Messenger

Hi,

Not knowing that Remote Assistance is using Windows Messenger to work, I deleted it. Now I want to reinstall it, but unfortunatly, I can't. I get a message that the version of Win XP Pro that I already have on my computer is a most recent version than the one I want to install. I suppose it's because I installed the service pack2. I deleted Windows Messenger by erasing the files in Program Files.

How to I reinstall Windows Messenger.

Can anyone tell me how to stop "Is it just me" Anytime a put a new thread
I receive 5+ emails saying "doddsy has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Is It Just Me? - in the IMO Community forum of TechIMO Forums", and it has nothing to do with the Thread I just posted.

Maybye if you would use msn messenger instead?

It may be 'better', but it doesn't solve his problem...

Germain - go through the Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and remove messenger from Windows Components. Reboot, then go back through the Control Panel to reinstall it.
