Well, Im just lucky to be able to reach this page. It's taking me abotu 10~60 or more seconds to load one page. I'm currently using Firefox and with all the latest updates. I even isntalled the faster firefox extension. Im connected through the router with a T1 modem. I never had this much lag before. I tried IE, that didn't even load. Even with all firewalls and anti-virus programs, I am lagging crazy!!!! I am in need of help!!!! |

have you run programs like spybot or AVG to see if there is a major buildup of spyware/malware/adware etc on your computer?

Well you don't have a T1 I can tell you that much looking at your speeds, T1 is 1.5megabit and has the same upstream bandwidth as downstream.
At any rate, not sure why it was lagged. Could have been your ISP was bogged down. Sometimes the DNS server with my ISP lags a bit.

If your speed came back without doing anything it was probably your ISP, like Raymon said. |

You can have a T1 modem without a T1 connection cant you?. Sorta like a athlon FX badge but a sempron inside. But anyways, check your startup options. Start > Run > Msconfig > Startup. Cant hurt anything by disabling the startup options (watch for your firewall or antivirus ones tho). Besides that, as stated before it seems like your ISP probably. It happens here sometimes, but usually I get at 'least' this :
Its a 'ruff' life, dont know how I survive with just 4.4MB sec.

He probably means the box between the Router and the wall, At least our T1 had one.
