    Question Cooler Master

I've picked up a used PC. I want to upgrade the CPU hopefully using the existing fan and heatsink. Where do I look to find the model number on the Cooler Master heatsink/fan that I have?

    Go to http://www.coolermaster.com/home.html
Go to the product section. All products have a photo and the dimensions are given.

    Question

Thanx for the link DM, but I'd already been there...

I'm hoping there are identification numbers on the heatsink/fan that I can then take to the chart at the Cooler Master site to make certain I've got an approved set-up.

    Anyone?

If you are looking for a number etched on your HSF I don't think they do that.
Nope, I refuse to have a signature

Sorry guy, but CoolerMaster HSF's don't have any markings on them. Just "CoolerMaster" on the center of the fan. Just picked me up one for the wife's Duron. The only way I know what model it is, is by the tick on the box.

I have one. No ID. They aren't rated really high even the best. But it keeps my 700Mhz Duron @ 800Mhz about 85degrees. Of course my house is usually 60 or so... brrrrr.....
