Hi everyone
I am going to buy a new computer and you guys please give me your suggestions. what i am looking in a computer is a DDR2, P4, and an AGP slot since i have an ATI radeon 9200se 128 MB graphics card on my older computer which i would like to transfer to the new one. I have checked out some sites and it seems that the intel Graphics Media Accelerator which is onboard is not as good as standalone graphic cards.
Can you guys please suggest a branded computer which has these.
Thanx |

are u going to be playing games?if so dont go with a intel....dont go with a intel regardless.AMD ALL DA WAY
as for wanting AGP so you can use your old card, I wouldnt..buy a computer or build one wiht a PCI-Express x16 slot(there are few agp cards now) and all the new cards will be PCI-express x16.so get a PCI-express x16 slot mobo and just buy a new card(that card aint gonna handle new games). |

Although amd is pretty much better then intel whatever you want it for.

I believe this will come down more to what you have available to you,
Most of our members are not from india and will have NO idea what prices and availability you will have access to...
What sites would you be able to buy from?
what options do you have? |

Sorry I just have to add, go AMD. Much cheaper for the amount of performance you will be getting.

256 Mb of Memory is too little...
It wont matter what the rest of the machine is if your memory is that low...
512 is the standard and higher is better depending on what you do..
are you hoping to be able to game with this computer?
and Im talking about newer higher end games that use alot of memory and high end video...
not kids games or solitaire |
