Computer for first time user (senior citizen)

I want to get my 75yr old Mom started with using computers, and was wanting it to be as easy as possible for her. Any suggestions? MAC or PC

Start teaching her with the operating system you are most familiar with will be
the easiest way to start her off with. When she has problems while learning you
can be there to be a good advisor. Start on your system maybe until you can get
her into a basic machine for her own use.

Go with this. She is going to need help and it sounds like you are the person thats going to help her. It will be best for everyone.

You can also become a learner when you are helping her solve issues. Then you will have
to the research when you come up against something unfamiliar!
