Help building a computer?

Can someone help me? I'm building a computer and the budget is going to be under $800 for the following:

A nice computer capable of running CoD2, CS Source, HL2, and Warcraft III. The price must include a monitor of 17' or better, CRT or LCD. I need to know all the parts I'll need and I'm going shopping today for a case, and some other things. What else is important that I should buy today and what kind? Feel free to list all the specs of what I should get so I have something to go by when I get to the place I'm going. Greatly appreciated.

Antec Solution series cases are great and won't break the bank. I would get one with a PSU. Antec use there PSU in there cases.

Oh I also should have speakers, but those can come pretty cheap, so I'm not too worried.

Thanks washe for posting all of that info and I will be going off that list when I goto the store. If I see a better deal, I'll buy of course, but that's a very nice, intensive list I can follow through on. I'll update tonight.

That setup should give you good performance for that budget....

Before buying someting different from to store do a little reserach, I have found that stores promote items at a reduced price but they arent very reliable, surf a bit on the net for more info, its better so wait a couple off days that waste your money in seconds...

Well I need the computer built by Saturday, so I kind of need to hurry and get it done, because I only asked for PC games, thinking my friend would've had it done.

I don't know if I'm going to do it, because I've never ever built a computer before... Unless someone can give me some major help, I might just buy a custom computer on CyberPowerInc.com
