Avast or AVG. I've put MS Beta on my work PC, since I'm still Beta tester. I wouldn't trust a Beta product by itself, especially for AV or firewall.

I agree with seanC have you scanned your computer lately with anything else to see how MS is holding up? Just cus your computer seems to run normal, doesn't mean ms is really keeping it as clean as some others could! . I agree ms one care will be a great tool for those out there who right now don't do anything just because it's supposed to be so overly simple (like all ms products for the most part) that the user doesn't even have to do much. I would still think that building and maintaining your own set of anti-crapware utilities would be best as it gives you the power to switch from one program to another as one surpasses the other. |

Hehe...it's Avast.
Have you rebooted? The icon doesn't show until after a reboot. |

Avast IMO is the way to go. Mcafee is good as well. Norton plane sucks and I wouldn't install it if you payed me.

Microsoft OneCare Live is the best AntiVirus in my opinion. I've been in the Beta since the start, and it has detected every viruse I have and has clean them..
Try to get into the beta! | I have got this on two computers, and I will also recomend this program.(I'm also a beta tester)
