transfering data
Is there a way to transfer data on one computers hard drive to another computers hard drive without having to burn the data to a cd or physically moving one hard drive to the second computer ?

Yes, you can share the one computer's HD buy networking together, or open the unit , remove the HD and install it as a secondary HD. The transfers using the 2nd method would be the fastest. But if you dont know how to do either one, burning a CD would be best. You can also use a thumb drive, if you have one.

They do make USB, Parallel, and Serial 'smartlink' cables that come with software to link to systems together. If both machines are on a network, that would be one way - as laptopextreme said. If not, but both system have a network card, you can use a cross-over cable to connect the two via a network.
Im against picketing, but I dont know how to show it.

I would say to scrap it and start again, without even looking at it. Time to get a local web designer to throw a few ideas at the boss, and see what you really need from a website.
