Dell has the 2005FPW. Although the aspect ratio is 16:10...I don't know if you are specifically looking for 16:9... Review here. |

PCTECH, it appears that warthog is looking for a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio LCD monitor, not your standard 4:3 monitor.
I saw some of the apple widescreen displays. They looked pretty impressive, but you'll probably pay more for the apple name. Don't worry, they use a standard DVI interface so they should work with PCs. name. http://www.apple.com/displays/ |

Ooooh thanks. I apologize - I briefly searched to no avail but figured you all would have some links handy. Thanks for the effort.

Knowing the viewable size of 20.1" could or could not narrow the search there. Most of the
search engines produce lcd tv over lcd monitors. Perhaps a search for the approximate size
of the viewable screen would produce better results. |

i believe most widescreen aspect ratios for windows and other things like games is 16:10
is there any reason you need 16:9 specifically...all its really going to do for you is make things look distorted, the one you linked to has a pixel ratio of 16:10 and that means the pixels are not square....no wonder it gets bad reviews
