Attempting to download directx 9.0c. Get a message asking me to choose a foder to DL to. Any ideas. Thanks.

I put everything in "My Documents". Once downloaded, run it from there.

put it where ever you want to. I usually dump everything onto my desktop so i have direct access to it.

I create a folder named downloads, and then create folders in it for the different things I download and name them accordingly. That way, I can easily find them when I need them, even if it's months later. Periodically, I burn all the folders to a CD, label and list it, and clear out my download folder for new stuff. I'm a collection and organization geek
