    Anyone own Microsoft Wireless mice/kb's?

I just moved into college (JCU Townsville, Aust, if anyone really cares) and it just so happens that both I and the guy a couple fo rooms down have the same wireless MS mouse. Recently I've actually been picking up his mouse's signal, which of course makes my cursor go troppo, though funnily enough he never has the same problem.

This also happened to me at a LAN.... BF2 + mouse interference + Friendly Fire = 1 makes for very bad things.

Anyone else had this happen to them? You'd think MS would give each mouse a slightly different frequency or something, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

i think some of 'em have a switch on the back to select different channels. i.e, A or B.

No such luck. Neither the reciever, mouse or keyboard have any kind of button on the back or bottom. You must be thinking of decent (logitech) peripherals =)

You could try putting more stuff in the way to interfere with his signals in your room, otherwise you can barge in his room and punch his nose and break his mouse.

Had the same thing happen here. Had a helluva time finding anything helping me out. Turns out the button on the reciver w/mouse and keyboard will switch channels for you. Make sure the mouse is real close, and the offending mouse is far away.
