| Now THATS my kind of laptop! -16.1" UXGA
Sony Vaio GRX570
16.1" UXGA 1600x1200 LCD screen.
1.6Ghz P4-M w/ 512k Cache
512MB RAM
Mobile Radeon 7500 w/ 32MB
40GB HDD
CD-RW/DVD combo drive (16x/10x/32x, 12x DVD)
3D Sound (Who knows)
Firewire
3x USB
56K Modem
10/100 Network
TV Out
2.5-3.5 Hours operation (6.5 with optional second battery)
2 PCMCIA slots http://www.sonystyle.com/vaio/popup/specs_grx570.pdf
Now thats all awesome.
And shippings free. I just have to dig $2500 in quarters out of the couch now. |

Eh... I don't think it's got built-in wireless. All the VAIOs I've seen just had a regular RJ-45 jack for normal CAT5e ethernet. But with 2 PCMCIA slots, and none needed for normal ethernet, that shouldn't be a problem. |

Yep, just put a PCMCIA card in.
Also shown optional is 5Mpbs Wireless.

I love my Sony. But when it comes to their rebate turn-arounds.....they are just plain pathetic. |
