    Hard drive doing strange stuff - help!

     
    Hi

    I just swapped my old Barracuda 40gig HD for an 80gig HD. Since then, every now and then, the hard drive starts doing this weird accessing thing where it 'ticks' over, and it seems to be once a second - tick tick tick tick. It's not loud or anything, but it worries me because it never used to do that with the old PC.

    Any ideas as to what this is?
