hey i used NTI backup programme to back up some files on my laptop.
it all entered into the cd fine but when i put it back into the cd drive i get a file in the format of .NBF how can i retrive all the data from my computer.
plz help got valuable info in it

The very first thing that comes to mind is you should use the recovery program that should have been included with your backup software. If you used the NTI program to make an emergency bootable recovery disk there should be a program that will automatically extract the files.
