    Friend needs some help looking for PC prices...

     
    Hey guys,

    My friend is wanting to buy a new PC so he can actually play games instead of *lag* through them on his POS he has now.

    Anyways, he said he'd rather have a laptop over a desktop if he could, but if he has to go desktop he's fine with that.

    All I want to know, is if there is a good gaming laptop that he could play games like CSS, HL2, WOW, BF2 etc. on decent settings and not lag like pun on framerates.

    His budget is 1700 MAX with taxes CANADIAN.....if there isnt a laptop out there that'll do this, then I got a list of parts for his desktop he'd buy....

    You'd pay a fortune for a laptop that is even close to what a similarily speced desktop would be...
