Hey guys, well I bought The Chronicles of Narnia today on DVD so I could watch it and put it on my iPod, well I went to rip it with DVD Shrink and it won't get past 8% because of an encryption. , anyways, is there anyway around this? I mean common, I bought it legally; crap like this annoys me.
Thanks
Mita

Have you tried AnyDVD?
It runs in the background and bypasses the encryption on the DVD.
Install it then go ahead and copy your DVD as you would usually. |

For no pay, try DVDFab Decrypter. Google for it. It still updates.

I use DVD Fab Express. I don't know what kind of protection it has but I just copied "Walk the Line" with it. Excuse me, I mean I made a backup of my legally owned dvd.

I'm using Nero Ultra 7. First I try DVDShrink to back a movie. If that doesn't work, I now just jump to AnyDVD to rip and DVDShrink to burn. I like Shrink's preview window. AnyDVD has a powerful decrypter. It was able to rip a couple of poorly encoded DVDs from Asia.
DVDFab Express is payware. The hard part of the exercise is getting the files ripped. Anything can burn those ripped files. Why pay for DVDFab Express when the DVDFab Decrypter is free? Shrink (with the Nero engine) will burn those ripped files just fine. |
