Native resolution

Hi to everybody, I have a question, just recently I bought a Dell 24' flat panel LCD monitor, and it says on the manual that the native resolution is 1920x1200, my question is, is it possible to adjust the resolution to a higher one than the native resolution? I have a nvidia GEforce 5200 AGP w/256 memory and if I can use a higher resolution I am planning to upgrade my video card. thanks for the advice in advance.

No, you can only go up to 1920x1200 if that is the maximum resolution.

Nope that's one of the big problems with LCD monitors. The native resolution is both the highest and the best quality. No other recolution setting will look as good. Sometimes half res might look halfway decent. One reason I still like CRTs. All resolutions it is capable of will look fine and you can chance pushing the specified optimum setting limit if you want.
