I pretty sure TechIMO wouldnt fair very well in that. Unless there are some dormant users here who dont share there specs.

Maybe if techimo could use there A team in the C team league.

I feel bad for people who are going to spend a couple G's just to be a part of that. I like money more than benchmarks!

Well, if you check the current benchamrking threadsm, there are quite a few members who have nice rigs and overclock like crazy. I don't think anyone will buy new rigs in the next couple of weeks to compete. I'm not sure how it goes, but I think it is the most improved score from the first preliminary score. I'm not sure. Just threw it out there for the overclocking, benchmarking junkies. I have a nice rig, but I don't overclock.

Ya but i checked the winning Rigs from last year and everyone has dual 7800gtx with x2 4800's.....
If you look at some of the peoples sigs in that forum......crazy expensive. Fx-60 7900gtxs..... I dont think techimo has 5 members that can compete with that.

    Again...check the benchmarks. I have an x2 4800+ with SLI 7900gtx's and I don't overclock.

Did you look to see how they score? Do they score based on scores after the preliminary or based on the highest score? I am wondering because they told to post preliminary scores, but not to overclock yet.

Ahh...just checked 3dmark06. The five of you with SLI setups have quite high scores actually.
Not "the very best", but certaintly high end. I correct myself and say that it would be worthwhile for techimo to enter. Wouldnt win, but would put up some nice scores.

I beleive you post pre-lim scores just to enter and get set-up, but then you post your very best scores for the "contest."
