Need to find compatable printer driver

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I hope I can get the help I need for my printer without the "technical jargon" that I don't understand. I am a "computer novice" when it comes to "technical stuff" so please keep your answers in simple everyday language for me. I would greatly apprciate it! My printer is a Xerox WorkCentre 470CX. I bought it on e-bay for a good price. The printer was working fine until I decided to change browsers. I cannot print at all now. I need to find a print driver that is compatable with Windows XP using this make and model number. I have searched for printer drivers on the net to no avail thus far. Please, can anyone help me with this? Remember, please keep it simple for me. Thanking you in advance. Sincerely, Pete

Thanks so much for helping me out. I am so used to "fouling stuff up" and get into situations that I know nothing about, that it was "refreshing" to have something work for a change. I did what you said, and now I have my printer back. Once again a big thank you to you. Now one more thing...how do I get my post off the site, or do I just leave it there for others to learn? Welcome to the TechIMO forums.

It is almost always the case in the tech forums around the web that you leave your threads for the edification of others. In most cases it is impossible for members to delete their own threads anyway - only the forum admins/moderators can do it. It would be nice if the Titles of the threads could be edited here though (the forum software allows it, but the admins here disable the feature) so that the word "Solved" could be added to the end so that browsers could tell that there is a solution within. C'est la vie... The forums at AnandTech.com allows thread title editing without problems - just another ill-informed limitation.
