Password Protected Internet

I just purchased a router:

http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper

and would like to setup a password for internet access. I know that you can 'allow' and 'block' certain websites in IE, but that can be easily worked around (installing a different browser to access the websites you need to go to).

Mainly what I am doing is trying to prevent people from accessing certain sites on the web. I would like for it to be simple and very user friendly on them.

I think that some routers allow you to specify certain websites that are allowed and blocked, but that would be too time demanding to go through all of the ones that I think are 'bad' and 'good'.

Question: Is there a program out there that asks for a password whenever the internet is trying to be accessed (via IE, firefox, Opera, ..etc.)?

Question: Maybe there is a way to block all sites but the ones that I specify. If there is (via router, Windows, or other places), please enlight me a little on where I can find this.

Any other advice would be appreciated.

Windows version is XP Home and the internet connection is DSL btw.

P.S. I will also have Zone Alarm Security Suite installed on this computer. This program may help this problem I am having.

You need content filtering either on your router or your PC.

Something such as Surf Control - http://www.surfcontrol.com/

Or a firewall that does content filtering -

I did not see this package at www.lynksys.com
