| slow/freezing up computer
I just downloaded Norton Anitvirus 2006 last week my computer keeps freezing up and wont respond . Whats up? |

Okay. Is your computer overclocked, is the room getting hotter because of the summer, and is the AntiVirus constantly using CPU %? Answer those and you might actually get some answers to your question cuz it's kinda vague  What's your system setup? |

| computer not responding
I uninstalled the Norton antivirus from my system, my computer will not respond when I double click on a desktop shortcut it doesnt do anything at all |

I would try doing a System Restore to an earlier date.
Press Start button > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
Restore to a date before you had Norton on ur PC.
