Problem with logging onto different sites
Now this is not for every site, but there are several sistes, that require a screen name and password, and when I try to go to these sites, my browser freezes up, and stops responding for a minute, and sometimes longer, before it will actually let me sign in. Let me try to explain this a bit better.
For instance, When I start my browser, then I click on a link for a group I belong to on-line. Now if I try to go to the members only are, a pop up should appear, where I am supposed to put in the screen name and password, but even before that shows up, the browser stops responding, and stays frozen for anywhere between a minute, to sometimes 5 minutes. I am not sure what is causing this problem. I tried defraging the system, but that didn't work.

Yep what's your browser, and do you have the Google tool bar installed in your browser?
You may have 2 pop up blockers somewhere, one that accepts the pop up and one that does not.
If you log out here and try to sign in do you get the same problem?

I am using Maxthon, and no, I do not have the google toolbar. I have tried several times now to clean out my cookies, and temp files. Hmm, Let me go see if there is an update for my browser. See if that works.. Be back soon!
