Building new Computer

I'm building a new computer for a friend of mine and we're trying to keep it cheap. He doesn't need anything amazing, just something to surf the net with and his girlfriend likes to play The Sims.
We want to keep this under $400 if possible and so far we came up with this list, somebody please tell me if all of these components are compatable.
(These part #'s are from newegg)

Case:linkworld case #n82e16811164054
Vid Card: 3DFORCE MX4000 TWIN #N82E16814139149
MB : ASUS P5ND2-SLI SOCKET T #N82E16813131578
PROC. : INTEL P4 #N82E16819116014
MEM: MUSHKIN (PC2 5300) 1Gb #N82E16820146110

Also does it doesn't matter about the type of RAM other than the number of pins right? I have another friend with a Dell and he's wanting more RAM to run HL2 Source. Thanks for the help

Ok, time for me to critique this (In other words smash it to bits(The list) and propose a more awesome setup than that for the same price) Wait for links.

Video Card: (None)
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131014
Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103633
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820144027
PSU: (If you dont already have a good one): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104953
That's around $355 total (Including shipping) minus a case. $45 for a case isnt bad, but we need good cooling for any case you buy.

I second the psu, if you don't buy one that can support extra internal/external hardware you'll be sorry later and they are real cheap. If you want to check what ram you can buy for your motherboard, try crucial.com their website will match it for you.

Have you considered buying one?, For £400 pounds here in UK you can buy one with a flat panel monitor, given that most companies build bulk it might be a cheaper option, though Id do some thorough checking on the component parts first. Personally I always build and scavenge from older systems, but this usually ends up costing me more.
