Cool Would you Mount this HSF SIDEWAYS ?

Zalman says to use special care when mounting this heatsink+fan as it exceeds the 450gm recommended by Intel and AMD --but doesn't exactly tell you how.

Looks like it might only be suitable for a desktop-type case (or HTPC) with the Mobo lying flat, rather than sideways in a Tower case.

    What do you think?
Any ideas for "special care" if going sideways?

Really needed, or are heavy coolers much more common without problem ?

Im geussing atleast 600 of those people had vertical motherboards....maybe more.

Yes you will mount it sideways(if you compare it to a stock HSF). You really just mount it the only way you can....
Many HSF's today have the same layout.

Special care just means not to stratch the motherboard, or apply excessive force.... Same "special care" that should be used when handling any computer component....
