WOW, I Cant wait till the system makes a mistake and shuts down someones puter that actually paid for a legit copy of vista. i guess this is one way for them to protect their investment, and u cant blame them. someone will eventualy find a way around it though.

I dont know vistas pretty tight, hacking will not be easy, I for see XP getting
A lot more illegal use, because vistas going to fight back, and XP will be easier to deal with,
But this will also be a pain for MS, if there are problems with the legit copys coming up saying there not,KN1-Extreme

I wouldn't mind the WGA or whatever MS decides to call it so long as it works the way it should, but we know that's not always the case. I didn't always have a legit copy of XP. Once MS started fighting back it became tiresome to go out and try to find the latest hack that would circumvent it so I went ahead and got a legit copy. The good news is that it only cost me $7 through my college. I plan on getting Vista for around $7 as well.

MS has deals with the colleges to give students the software at a very cheap price. (academic verison) Part of the deal however is they can only use the copy until they finish school.
After that they are suppose to purchase a full copy.
