I can't believe the navy would let a laptop out of their grasp without a mountain of paperwork and assurances that the HD was scrubbed clean.

I don't know, it's still hard to believe about that stolen laptop from the Vets Administration last summer. That was pretty dumb.

Yeah...I didn't hear about it on the news or anything. I received a letter in the mail stating that my identity could possibly stolen because of a stolen laptop with my SS# on it. I then looked more into it and saw that I wasn't the only one

. We have received another letter stating tha the laptop was recovered, nothing was tampered with, and I shouldn't have to worry about it. I was checking my credit report every three months

. I do every six months anyway though
