I have an Epson Stylus Color 440 that I haven't used in about a year and since I just got a new Kodak DX3900 digital camera, I thought I would fire the printer up and print some pretty pictures.
Well the beastly printer does strange things.
First off, the print heads, slam all the way to the left of the carriage and sits there for a bit.
Then it makes a grinding noise, and the heads slowly move to the center of the carriage and stop with
all the lights on. The book says that all lights on means a paper jam, but there is no jam.
You know, now as I mention it, this beast only cost $40.00, so I think I will just ditch it and get something new.
Though what to do with those new cartridges.
Any recommendations on a decent color printer but not too expensive, say $200.00 max.
thanks
