Upgrading: AM2 mobo and ram suggestions?

Hi, I have a 1.6ghz am2 sempron on the way in the mail and I need a mobo and DDR2 ram for it.

I have IDE hardrives, video card, case, psu, dvd, ect.


Motherboard: I am looking for a mobo with-
4 ram slots (not 2)
NOT a SLI board
Nvidia chipset
prefer 2 IDE controllers (for 4 devices total)


Im liking this one because the 4xx chipsets from nvidia have 2 ide slots and it seems the newer 5xx ones only have one ide channel. This board still has 4 sata connections for future upgrades as well (best of both worlds)

RAM:
Im not sure if I will get 1gb or 2gb at this point. It depends on pricing, if I can pick up 2gb for under $200, preferably closer to $180 then I would go for 2gb.
In the distant future I will likely upgrade to dualcore or AMD's next gen am3 chip when its out, so I would like to get good and fast ram for that, even though now I am only using a low end sempron.

I am thinking about this one, only I am a bit worried if it comes DOA, as Im sure buy.com's return process isnt as good as neweggs.

Do you plan on overclocking this pc ?

yes I would like to try overclocking the sempron 2800 some, it seems to overclock well. At the same time, I am not worried about having the lowest timings possible and extreme overclocking because I am on a budget so I would like to find good ram with in my price range.


since there isnt really a FSB in the old sense, how would that work, can you increase the cpu speed without increasing the ram speed or are will they both increase at the same time?

well they will both increase but you can put the ram on a divider so that it can still run stable .
I would suggest a DFI mb if you plan on overclockn
