Hi ppl
Could anyone recommend a motherboard with onboard graphics as the basis for a build I am putting together, preferably Amd ( Am2? ).
It's not going to be a beast, 512 - 1 gig ram, maybe 160 gig hdd, dvd-rw etc.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Steve.

I eventually opted for the ASRock ALiveNF6G-DVI, and I had two builds to do, both almost identical :
Am2 3800+ dual core, 1 gig of ram, win xp pro, dvd rw.
But....when I boot the pc's up it takes about 55 seconds to reach the post screen, then when it posts and beeps, another 50 seconds before windows loads up....then runs normal. Is there something in the bios I should enable/disable?
Both have identical 160 gig maxtor IDE, not using SATA.
I loaded the mobo drivers ( agp, lan, etc. ) after I loaded windows.
Any thoughts? |
