Vista 64 bit bought instead of 32

So I bought the 64 bit home premium without reviewing it, after reviewing it I emailed the wrong ebay guy to exchange it. Well to make a long story short im getting the 64 bit version as its already shipped. Should I bother running this or should I just pay the extra shipping and return it for the 32 bit version? I do have a dual core amd processor.

You should be able to run Vista 64 bit just fine on that computer in your sig.

If you've purchased OEM then you'll only have that 64 bit version of the software.

If the Ebay sale was for retail, then it includes both 32 and 64 bit versions.

well you're really goign to be hit with a double whammy of sorts

1. Vista drivers are "good enough" for now
2. 64 bit drivers ... if you can find them they should work
3. Apps again should work, but you may find bugs... I would guess most bugs you find would be due to incompatible with Vista more than 64 bit though

IMO May as well stick with the 64, as Vista will probably cause more problems than the 32 vs 64 bit

Im wondering if these recently released soundblaster x-fi drivers work with 100% compatibility with Vista as in all the features.

I'm running the 64bit version of Vista Ultimate on my main gaming machine and I have found drivers for everything except for my old scanner, to which I purchased a newer model that does have drivers, and my USB TV Tuner. My ATI and Audigy2 drivers are working just fine.
