Ctrl+Shift+W might work for you (but it doesn't for me on W2K). <--oops, that's for Opera
Alternately, if you have a way to bind keystrokes to a key sequence perhaps you could bind a series of "alt-F4"s...maybe 8 or 9 times? |

You can open, close, and navigate the Start menu, desktop, menus, dialog boxes, and Web pages using keyboard shortcuts. Ctrl-Alt-Del; Shift-End; Alt-E
Bring up Task Manager, select all programs, hit End Task
(Works in XP anyway) |

I know what you mean. A year or two ago I expended much time and energy trying to map the keyboard for Win98se ... I tried several [IMO] crappy programs and hadn't really thought about it again till I read this thread.

Hi Brangwen, Ya Im looking for a way to make a hotkey to close them all at once, I suppose a person would have to create a batch file or some simple code to tie into an icon or something that will close all windows. Haven't figured it out yet. If I do I'll let you know, Ya i been through these searches many times.

I imagine it could be done in a script, but would take some time to research how to switch tasks etc from a script/program etc.
I think the biggest problem, would be letting them end properly and not killing the tasks (which can lead to not getting memory back, excess temp files on your HD etc)

Hmmmmm,
Now that I think about it more, it seems if i recall correctly few years ago when I used netscape and if you clicked the x in the corner it would asked you if you wanted to close all windows. yes/no. I remember liking that feature, but never seen it with IE. Like having the option to either close all or just one. Surpised it hasn't been implemented in IE yet.
