I've got Microsoft Home Server. There are 3 ISO image files 2 for a CD and 1 for a DVD.
Do I have to burn these to separate disks? (I'm not real familiar with burning iso images).
TIA,

Yup, each should be burned to the appropriate type of disk (CD or DVD) to create usable versions of the images. I think it's an And/Or thing though. Either create the DVD or the pair of CD's.
PowerISO (trial version) worked fine for me when I created my Vista Beta DVD's. |

You mean I could put the 3 images on 1 DVD???
I'm almost thinking that they are SUPPOSED to be on separate disks. I'll go that route cuz we're talking, what, a quarter a disk?
Do I just use my Nero 7 and select "Burn ISO image"? |

If they fit, you can store the ISO's - as ISO's - on a DVD, but you need to create 3 disks (two CD's & one DVD) to make the ISO's into usable disks.
Nero should work great. |

i suspect that each image is intended to be on a seperate disc.
using nero.
select rcorder--burn image from the menu bar and browse to your files. |

One ISO is home server, (DVD)
The other cd image is connector, you don’t really need to burn that one,
You can install it from home server,
The other one is, a pc restore disk, you put that one in
And start the computer with it, if it crashes, it will reinstall
Your saved image, I have been using home server for awhile now
It’s works pretty good,

I'd recommend Imgburn or Deepburrner. Maybe you have a dell and have Power DVD? Nero is good too. http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/gmm/fwcdburn.html
There is a portable version of Deep burner. http://www.deepburner.com/?r=download

Thanks guys.
I burned the home server image to a dvd but it doesn't "do" anything LOL!
I'm new to this iso image stuff; how do I make the DVD Home Server and CD Restore disks bootable??? Or startable? Or whatever?
Remember, I'm trying to get this to run in Vmware; so it needs to be a bootable disk (I think)... |

If you are trying to install an os from an iso in vmware. You dont even need to burn the disks. You can just mount the ISO images.
(the vmware for that os needs to be off) Double click on the cdrom in the vm you want to load the os. Click use iso image then point it to wherever the iso image is. No need to burn disk anymore |

I don't think so GZ.
I'm trying to install Home Server, from scratch, to a NEW virtual machine. I can't find antying to "launch" the iso file |
