That works IN IT"S OWN PAGE, not on an outside windows.
If I wasn't so slammed today, I would have wrote him one, but Google results should turn something out fairly quickly.

Low Tech Solution with Paint
Hit the 'Prnt Scrn' button
Open Paint
Select Edit > Paste, or Ctrl-V, to paste the image.
Click the Free-Form select button (Dotted Star) to lock the image location
Move the Mouse over the location in the image.
Note the Mouse Coordinates in the status bar.Last edited by qptmgrossman; October 9th, 2008 at 11:29 AM.

yea I know this thread is yrs old but the screenshot method won't work because whatever graphic application offsets the coordinates, savy?
our good friend google did not cough up dozens of results and I could only find one that fit the bill, though I remember a small little app that had the coordinates in a tool tip.

Hey,
I found a good way to find the coordinates of the mouse.
1. Download: AutoIt v3
2. From the Start menu, go to AutoIt v3 > SciTE Script Editor.
3. Paste this script code into it and save it:
4. Now go to AutoIt v3 > Run Script and choose the script you just created. The icon will show in the system tray (bottom right).Code:HotKeySet("z","jPos") While 1 Sleep(100) WEnd Func jPos() $jPos = MouseGetPos() MsgBox(0, "Mouse x,y:", $jPos[0] & "," & $jPos[1]) EndFunc
Now when you press the letter 'z', it will display the mouse xy coordinates in a pop-up box.
