I want to upgrade my 305w psu for my dell dimension E510. I am thinking of buying this: http://www.pcpower.com/products/view....php?show=S47D
but I think it is kind of expensive. I am trying to upgrade my radeonx600 video card, but need a more powerful psu. This is the video card I want to buy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130040
Does anyone know of a different psu I could purchase..maybe from newegg that is cheaper but still has enough wattage to support the video card? Thanks for the help.
Since the x600 is an optional card for that system, I would recommend you save your money. The 305 watt PSU in the E510 handles as much current (18 amps) on the +12 Volt rail as most 350 & 400 Watt PSUs.
I am trying to upgrade my video card, I have a dell dimension e510 with a radeonx600 video card. I want to purcharse this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...814130071#spec
But i am not so sure if it will fit in my tower and work correctly. It is said to be a huge card, would anyone know if it fits inside a Dell Dimension e510 tower? Thanks for the information!
