Cannot format USB drive
I accidentally left my USB drive when installing a fresh copy of Windows on a new machine. I unconsciously deleted the partition thinking it was part of the main hard drive in the computer.
Now I'm trying open the drive, and it's telling me that I need to format it. When ever I go ahead and format it, it tells me Windows cannot complete it, for some reason.
I've tried it on 3 different PC's all with the same unsuccessful results.
I hoped I havnt' damaged the drive

Every USB drive I have used must be formatted FAT, not FAT32 or NTFS/
Did you try selecting that in the drop down menu?

Yep, FAT is the only one there any way I think. Still won't let me and results in the same message.

How are you trying format it? Try going into Disk Management and try to format it that way. Let us know.

Well I tried formatting it via My Computer, it didn't let me. I've tried it via DM and it's formatted it successfully.
