The only problem i see potentially is the 4 gigs of ram. Unless your going with XP/Vista 64 bit your not going to see all 4 gigs so you might as well just get 2 gigs until your ready to move to a 64bit OS.

Building a rig is the way to go, I'm still using a 128mb ATI Radeon Pro card in my server, as I'm typing this and It kicks a*s., Flat Panel, 1gb ram, raid and it serves 3 laptops. An Abit IT7Max2v2 board that I hand picked. I know people who walked into pc world and never stopped having problems, which I was of course happy to fix for a fee. BUILD, save money, get a kick ass dual core system and go with Xp or dual boot. The prices are crazy atm - you WON'T regret it.
