    Itunes question

I just got my daughter an Ipod Nano. She's home from college now and using one fo the house computers for loading tunes. And then I thought "ok, all your songs are here, what about when you go back to school?"

So I suggested putting Itunes on her USB drive so she's not tied to any given computer. Can we do this?

If so, then how can we transfer ALL the songs she has in the desktop version of Itunes to the USB version of Itunes???

you can save the library on the usb and simply transfer it to the itunes folder on the other computer. then get itunes on that computer to scan for the songs and thats bout it. ive never really had to do this before. i dont think you can transfer songs from the ipod to the computer though.. though im not too sure bout that

Nice link! Thank you very much.

From reading it, it just seems that this "moves" your Itunes folder not necessarily making a "copy" of it (considering the last step is to take original directory and delete it!).

Good link.. I was looking for that as well.

To stupid that Apple can't make the Ipod sync to multiple computers. What is Apple thinking again (that with no support for Windows 64 bit O/S).
