cant install windows on HP laptop! help

Ok, so I got a good deal on an HP 6820s. Its OEM so I had to buy Windows XP Home and I got the drivers burned on a CD.

Anyway, I thought this would be easy as installing Windows on a PC, so I boot the puter from the CDROM, I get the Press any key to continue with windows installation bla bla.. I get the blue setup screen and it starts loading all the drivers. Then I get 3 choices:

    1. Press Enter to install Windows
    2. Press R to repair a previous installation
    3. Press F3 to exit

So I press Enter and I get a message saying that there is no hard drive installed!!
The Bios sees the HD, I can do the HD scan in the bios and it passes successfully.

    What to do?!?!?!

Hard Drive: 120GB Serial ATA 5400 rpm

Probably have to do the F6 thing and install drivers off a floppy..

During the boot process, the XP disc will prompt you to install RAID drivers (thus, Steve's comment about the F6 thing). You need to follow HPs instructions on how to do that. They will load either from the BIOS or you can put them on a flash drive.

This really shouldn't be too hard.
