I love my MX Revolution and have had zero problems with drivers/software, even after 2 updates. |

The MX Revolution is a little larger but has a docking station that charges the batteries. I also love the second scroll wheel. I have it set to flip between open files when in Photoshop. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826104015 | I like the versellity of this one. Two concerns with this one. More than I really want to pay. Where does it connect? I see no cords or no usb thingybob?
Atomic, I am starting to think that MS one might work out nice as well. |

The MX Revolution has a usb dongle (the size of a small thumb drive) for the receiver. It has a separate docking station to charge when not in use. It is a little pricey, but Newegg is running a rebate right now. You can also look around to see if anyone has any other sales on it. Besides, the mouse is one of the most used pieces of your computer, might as well get something nice and splurge a bit, right?

As I said, the old drivers are buggy and crap, and the latest driver I tried did not even recognize it.
If you do not mind the default settings for the mouse (like that center click being the scroll wheel shift instead of a middle click mainly) it would be fine. But I'd break the damned thing and buy a new one before it forces me to use that as the scroll wheel shift. The middle click is probably the second most used button besides the left click. On my old MX 1000 it actually started wearing out to the point where it was useless once in a while.

Amazon?? http://shop.resellerratings.com/SF-7.../name-Wireless
NEVER BUY GE !
I like Logitech too. I plug in the mouse and M$ sees it??? Drivers?
Oh, make sure the mouse you end up buying is not a laptop type. They are very small!
Another thing to consider is the power. If your last mouse was losing its connection do you think it may have been the batteries?
I personally like a mouse that has a higher hump (for lack of a better word) That way you have better pivoting for your clicking finger. Not too high of a hump though. It is very hard to tell what the ergonomics of a mouse will be like unless you can feel one at the store. This seems nice

Speaking of mice. I have an EX-110 Logitech keyboard. It was a combo with the mouse. Well, I ended up breaking the mouse and will need a wireless replacement too. I was wondering if the EX-100 keyboard combo's mouse would work for my EX-110 receiver? It may, but not sure. I may just shoot Logitech an E-Mail. |
