| PS3 video connection help
I have a Optoma DV10 with no HDMI input. The ports on the DV10 are as follows: VGA-In, S-Video, Composite Video, Stereo Audio-In, Stereo Audio-Out, Coaxial Audio-Out. It has a VGA to Component Adapter that has the analog ports (red, white and yellow RCA input) on it that connects to the VGA-in port. I have been told I can connect the component input from the PS3 to the component adapter to the VGA port and run an optical output from the PS3 to the optical input on my amp for sound. Does this sound like the best way to hook my PS3 for visulaization and sound? Any help is much appreciated!
