| Multiple Exchange Accounts
I am trying to add two Exchange Accounts to Outlook. I am already using one with it, and would like to add another. From my research, it isn't possible to be able to add the accounts, as Outlook can only handle one at a time.
The accounts are also hosted on separate servers, is there any way to around this?

Have you tried creating an additional profile (in Control Panel --> Mail)...?

I'll give that a try.
But would I be able to use both profiles at the same time. I need to be able to access both exchange accounts at the same time. I hope I don't need to load one profile and then shut it down and load the other. |

You can add two mailboxes from the same organization at one time
You can NOT add two mailboxes from two different organizations
If they are seperate organizations you will have to have seperate profiles, and they can not be loaded at one time.
If its all the same organizations you can easily have multiple mailboxes open in the same profile. |

Well the two exchange accounts are from my university, but appear to be on two different servers. I'm not quite sure what you mean by organization. |

| AFAIK, you can only have one Exchange mailbox/account associated with a profile in OL...
You can still have multiple OL profiles, and - depending on the OL version - I think that you might be able to select which one you want to use... I've never tested/used that before though, so I'm not 100%....
Another thing that you could prolly do would be to load one in OL, and the other in OE or webmail.......
Have you tried adding the other account as an additional mailbox in the first OL profile...? |
