    Trouble With A' Drive

     
    I am having trouble using my A Drive, for Flppy Disc. I am using 98 SE. I wanted to transfer the Information that I have on some floopy Disc to a CD, using my DVD/CD Burner, but everytime I insert a floppy Disc into the A Drive I Get This Error Message:A/ Not Acessible Drive Not Ready. It does this everytime. Would reinstalling windows solve the problem? Thanks In Advance For The Help...

    im not sure on re-installing windows.....
    it sounds like there is a problem with the floppy or the floppy drive...
    have you tried using different floppys???
    has it worked before...???

    It's almost certain that reinstalling Windows will not solve this problem.

    This is pretty easy to diagnose. It's either the drive or the diskettes. Try another drive that you know is working. Try another diskette.
