| YouTube Search Help (I'm a YouTube Newbie)
Hello, Everyone,
I do not frequent YouTube.com often and consider myself a YouTube newbie, so please pardon my inexperience. I am trying to search by video category, but have no idea how to (by video category, I mean those such as Comedy, Education, Entertainment, and Pets & Animals). For example, I would like to search for "running," but only for videos listed in the Pets & Animals video category. How can I do that? Thank you. |

Youtube is run by Google and uses the same Boolean search engine. You can exclude a term my putting a hyphen in front of it. Hence;
running jogging -animal -dog -emu -ostrich -horse
would search for running and jogging, but would exclude any results with those keywords.

It would seem a bit silly to put a hyphen in front of all the other video categories (running -Autos & Vechicles -Comedy -Education -Entertainment -Film and Animation). Thanks. |

Well with the info provided in that video, you should be able to find what your looking for..
Do a search like this.
site:Youtube "running.pets.put another search term here" see if that returns what you want.. |
