That Power Supply would be cutting it close, at least IMO, although it should be ok for a while. I would get an OCZ 600 or 700 watter, those for sure would provide enough power.
The other RAM you picked out should be compatible, yes.
Do you plan on overclocking? If not, I would get "value RAM", it would work just as well as overclocking RAM. |

Why would you buy 4 sticks of ram instead of two? That leaves no room for more in the future. FRYS.com*|*OCZ
That power supply should be fine. I am running a Q6600 setup with an 8800 GS on a quality 375w (continuous) power supply without any issues. |

So I've decided I want to set up RAID, can anyone suggest a similarly priced mobo that can do that, or a solution that will let me do that. |

The Antec Basiq BP500UB 500W will be plenty for that setup.
I believe that motherboard is RAID capable.

That PSU should be more than enough. I don't see where he's running 4 sticks of ram??? He'll be running 4GB, using 2 2GB sticks.

But if only 4GB is wanted, I'd just grab 2x 1GB modules plus the two that come free with the 8800 GS. |
