Sony Erricsson Users?

I'm not a SE user so don't know much about how they work, hopefully those who use the phone and the PC suite will be able to give me an insight into my issue.

Basically I was trying to sync the contacts with my PC, so I would essentially back them all up on the PC. It connected to the PC, I checked the settings and it was to transfer all files from the phone to the PC. There were no contacts on the PC to begin with, so all the phone contacts would be transferred over.

Now, once it transferred all the contact to the Windows Contacts it then started syncing the phone, before I knew it, the phones contacts where totally deleted and there was NOTHING on the PC either. Nothing in Windows contacts or the phone.

Is there anyway of retrieving my contacts? I've been to App files, nothing there, it appears to have been wiped off both PC and phone.

I am a SE and i know this isn't helpful but i have never had a problem with the syncing... what mobile were u using?

Its a K800i.

I can't even find it on the PC, I hope it hasn't deleted it from there too.
