Not bad.. I still think you could do better. And probably save some money, but that's just me. |

you have 2 DVD ROM's & no DVD Burners in that list? don't you need one of those?
If your going to use an aftermarket CPU cooler, grab the Intel Q6600 OEM version for $179.99, ten bucks cheaper than the Retail that includes the stock Cooler. |

sry i accidently put 2 of um when i was replacing the OEM ones for retail versions. But i just deleted the CPU cooler i got it because some people say the heatsink and fan that comes with it SUCKS even if u dont plan on overclocking it sucks. |

Get the WD caviar black 640 gig drive instead. A little more space and much faster. Also, for that screen size you hardly need 1gig of video card memory. 512mb is enough. I would look into one of those dual slot ones because the stock cooling on the single slot verson kinda sucks. Mine runs at 86 degrees celcius on full load (at 45% fan speed). Any more than that and it becomes audible over my PSU fan.

the stock CPU coolers are fine for running at stock speeds, who ever told you that doesn't know what their talking about or is running a crappy cooling setup for their PC... providing you have a proper cooling setup for Intake & exhaust fans, cable management & what not, the stock cooler should work fine for stock speeds & minimal to sometimes moderate overclocks...
looked at the list, edited it a bit, a mere 3 cents away from $5 cheaper than your original list...
I changed the vid card to a 512MB model with a dual slot design to vent heat out the back (factory Overclocked too, 650MHz vs 625 & 2000MHz vs 1986...),
changed the hard drive to a 500GB model with 16MB cache instead of 8MB,
Swapped out the Arctic Silver 5 for Arctic Silver Ceramique,
Ditched the Rosewill 120mm fan for a set of 2 120mm Coolermaster transparent Blue LED fans, & a single version for a total of 3 (if your going to replace the cases fans, you'll need 3 of them & not just one like you had) the Coolermasters are pretty quiet & decent cooling as I have the one pair in my 2nd PC,
Changed the Logitech speaker set for a different more powerful & better set of Logitech 2.1 speakers,
Ditched bother DVD-ROM's for two DVD Burners (DVD ROM's ONLY play DVD's & CD's, they DO NOT Record Data to Discs...), ones a lightscribe burner the other isn't, both are OEM's but you can easily use one of the Free downloadable Media burning apps like CD BurnerXP Pro or similar ones...
I ditched the Neon light, trust me with the LED's in the fans you won't need the extra Neon light... the Coolermaster twin pack of fans, the LEDs are SUPER bright, add in a 3rd fan as I did on the list, & it'll be enough to light of the inside of the case... besides the Neon light can be added later down the road if you feel you really need it... best to just see how the current setup looks & go from there, rather than stock up on parts you may not need or decide not to use after getting them. especially small cheaper priced parts like that... also why I switched the thermal paste, its a dollar cheaper, & the stock cooler comes with a layer of thermal paste on it already, if applied properly you won't need to crack open the AS paste, but its nice to have on hand down the road if you replace the heatsink or need to remove the heatsink & reattach it, applying a new layer of paste after cleaning the old stuff off.
anyways, here's the list I edited: Newegg.com - Once You Know, You Newegg

What is with those speakers?
If you plan on doing any gaming/movie watching you will hate 2.1. Spend $50 more or something and get a nice little 5.1 setup. |

Well, it depends on you. But if you were going to get speakers, I would opt for a good set of 2.1s than a crappy set of 5.1s. Unless you start to cross the $100 to $150 range. Any more than $150 and I would chuck in a sound card too to make the most of my speakers. Besides, for most of the computer setups Ive seen, its going to be hard to find a place for the extra 2 speakers behind if its just a regular desk.
